Kyla started her career in recruitment 9 years ago, just 19 years old working, the true to its name, 24/7 on call in temporary, Industrial recruitment. After 2.5 years she took a step back and started in the food industry as an administrative assistant at a processing facility near York, Hartleys. Her time there saw her love for the industry flourish (her love for peas especially). She progressed up to Sales Account Manager, managing one of the company’s largest accounts, Kraft Heinz.
After the birth of her son in 2020, she decided to take some time out to enjoy the early stages of Motherhood. Kyla was unsure of what career path she was going to take following a break but took an opportunity to work for her step dad, part time and back in recruitment assisting in a major recruitment drive for a big manufacturing client. This re-ignited her love of recruitment.
In 2022, she decided to look for other opportunities and she was thrilled to find a role that seemed too good to be true and merged her two areas of expertise. She has now joined the Blakeney team, keen to learn and progress alongside the best in the business.
